Prison of the Mind

Shadows climbing the walls crookedly, leaving a dark haze to fill the cell the Jolteon was sitting in.  His voice worn from his barking from earlier. His chest hurt and his throat raw, and yet these dark creatures kept coming towards him.  He would be stuck with them, and he wouldn’t fall with these things nearby, no matter how much his body was burning to rest.  They were real, he had tasted blood, they weren’t fake. He was sure of it.  Growls emptying from his body, baring his teeth once more. Showing them the blood of their own.  He had been to sticking them with his quills, shocking them, biting, and yet they still came. It was a never ending and he had no escape.

A larger one hailing from the shadows appeared. Dropping dropping down, his growls warning this thing, that he wasn’t going to be easy food. His jaws opening, charging forward into another battle of the night.
